Are you looking to understand what is means to be healthy? Are you concerned about your health?

So were we and we started to search for information on doing just that - be healthier.

We had questions about our health, understanding what free radicals and antioxidants are, our foods, the right vitamins, working out, any extra concerns for athletes, do we need supplements - this is what we learned.

We are NOT doctors, just regular people that had the desire to really learn about being healthy.

Obesity is already shortening the avg. life span by a greater rate then accidents, homicides and suicides - combined.

You may ask how can that be - Currently 33% of children born in America today are expected to develop Type 2 Diabetes. For Black and Hispanic children the number jumps to 50%.

To help you understand lets look at today's health reality. The leading causes of premature deaths in the world today are degenerative diseases.

  • Cardiovascular Disease (17 million*)
  • Cancer (8.6 million*)
  • Stroke (5.5 million*)
  • Respiratory Disease (3.7 million*)
  • Diabetes (990,000*)

Right about now you may be asking - "So what are the causes of Degenerative Diseases?” The top causes are:

  • Autointoxication - the body's inability to rid itself of toxic wastes, a result of metabolism
  • Nutritional Deficiencies - without the proper nutrients it’s harder for our bodies to function correctly
  • Stress - it comes in many forms but begins within, like road rage - when someone cuts you off with their car what do you do? We can get angry/aggressive or we can just shake our head and let it go, either way it's our choice.

All of these causes produce what is know as Free Radicals.
